배경

 

p53 은 전사 활성화, DNA 결합 및 올리고머화 도메인을 포함하는 종양 억제 단백질입니다.  
p53은 DNA 손상, oncogene 활성화, 산소 부족, 바이러스 감염 등 세포에 스트레스가 가해지면 활성화되어, G1/S기에서 세포를 멈추게 하여 성장을 막고 DNA 수선 단백질을 활성화하거나 손상을 복구할 수 없는 경우 세포 자살을 시작합니다.
