특징
- NETRI의 미세유체장치는 체외 분석이나 생체내 실험을 대체하여 화합물의 효능과 독성을 이해하는데 이용됩니다.
- 칩에 사용된 PDMS silicone 재질은 높은 광학적 투과성과 생체적합성을 보장합니다.
- 서로 다른 세포를 각각 독립적으로 분화시키고 관찰할 수 있도록 분획(compartmentalization)되어 있습니다.
- 각 분획은 microchannel tunnel이나 groove를 통해 연결됩니다. (microchannel tunnel은 fluidic isolation용으로, microchannel groove는 axon의 continuous connectivity 용으로 적합합니다.)
- 단일 칩에서 동일한 장기의 다른 영역의 생리적 행동, 조직과 다른 조직의 상호 작용 또는 복잡한 신경망을 재현합니다. (예, neuron과 muscle cell의 조합으로 ALS 환경 재현)
- Porous polycarbonate membrane은 세포의 diffusion, exchange, communication을 조절합니다.
- Functional synapses recording등 neural network activity를 측정하기 위한 MEA format으로도 제공됩니다.

Format
1. NeoBento™ HT Format
- 96-well plate 형태로 제공
- 거의 모든 자동화 liquid handler 및 imaging 장치에 호환
- 최대 4일동안 물 추가하지 않고 습기 유지
- 4개의 QuarterBento로 구성되어 있으며, 각 QuarterBento는 부분적으로 꺼내어 분석 가능 (제거된 부분은 plug로 대체)
2. NeoBento™ MEA
- NeoBento™ HT Format에 MEA 호환성을 추가한 device
- Electrophysiology readout 가능
