특징

 

우리 몸의 면역 세포(주로 대식세포 등)는 외부의 병원체(박테리아, 이물질 등)를 잡아먹어 분해하는 '식세포 작용'을 수행합니다. 이 제품은 면역 세포가 이물질을 얼마나 효율적으로 잡아먹는지(engulfment)를 in-vitro에서 수치화하여 측정하는 키트입니다.

 

  • Zymosan (효모세포벽 성분) 또는 E.coli를 pathogen으로 이용하여, 세포의 식균작용을 유도하고 분석합니다. 
  • adherent phagocytes에는 Zymosan을, suspension cell의 식균작용에는 E.coli를 이용합니다. 
  • 96-well 형식으로 제공되어 많은 샘플을 동시에 분석할 수 있습니다.
  • Colorimetric 방법을 이용하여 Standard microplate reader로 간편하게 측정할 수 있습니다.


실험 원리

1. 식세포(macrophages 등)를 96-well 플레이트에 배양합니다.
2. 특정 처리(예: 약물 투여 등)를 한 후, 형광이나 색깔로 표지된 위 입자들을 세포에 노출합니다.
3. 세포가 입자를 잡아먹으면, 정해진 프로토콜을 통해 이를 ELISA 리더기(흡광도 측정기)로 측정합니다.



적용 실험

  • 면역학 연구: 면역 세포의 활성도 측정 (면역 세포가 병원체를 얼마나 잘 잡아먹는지 평가).
  • 약물 스크리닝: 특정 약물이나 화합물이 면역 세포의 식세포 작용을 촉진하는지, 혹은 억제하는지를 분석.
  • 질병 기전 연구: 염증성 질환이나 면역 결핍 질환 등에서 식세포 기능이 어떻게 변화하는지 확인.
  • 항균제 연구: 병원체에 대한 면역 반응을 평가할 때 사용.
