특징

  

  • Oxygenase와 oxidase는 E.C.1 부류의 효소에 속합니다.
  • Oxygenase는 산소가 기질에 결합하는 것을 촉매하고 Dioxygenase는 두개의 산소 원자를 기질에 결합하고, Monooxygenase는 단일 산소 원자를 기질에 hydroxyl그룹으로 통합하고 두번째 산소 원자는 물로 환원됩니다. 
  • Oxidase는 두개의 전자를 donor에서 oxygen으로 전달하여 과산화수소를 생성하는 것을 촉매합니다. 일반적으로 flavin co-enzyme이나 metal co-factor가 필요합니다.
