특징

• 단일 well에서 두가지 타입의 세포를 공동 배양함으로써 세포간의 direct contact을 모니터링 합니다. 
• 첫번째 세포가 insert 주위에서 monolayer로 자라면서 8mm cell-free zone을 형성하게 된 후, insert를 제거하여 다른 세포를 넣으면 두 세포간의 접촉에 의한 결과를 Calcein AM을 이용하여 형광으로 확인합니다. 
  
• 대부분의 adherent cell type에 이용될 수 있습니다. 
  
• Co-culture system은 암, 발달 생물학 및 조직 공학 연구에 유용합니다. 3차원 Co-culture는 내피 세포와 평활근 세포의 3차원 공동 배양으로 혈관 구조를 모방할 수 있습니다.

원리

CytoSelect™ 24-well Cell Co-Culture System은 proprietary treated plastic insert가 포함된 24well plate well을 제공하며, Calcein AM을 통해 형광현미경에서 관찰합니다.  

구성

• 24-well Cell Co-Culture Plate Assembly (Two 24-well plates containing 12 inserts each)
• Calcein AM

실험 결과

Defined Cell-free Zone. HeLa cells were seeded overnight according to the assay protocol.

After insert removal, wells were stained with Crystal Violet (left) or Calcein AM (right) to demonstrate the cell-free zone.
