Basal Medium Eagle (BME)  (#091003122)

• 모든 세포 배양 배지 중 가장 일반적으로 사용되는 배지중 하나입니다.
• 배양에서 세포의 성장에 필수적인 영양소 성분을 제공합니다.
• 전통적으로는 단층 배양에서 정상 세포 (WI-38)와 형질전화 세포 (HeLa)의 성장 반응을 측정하기 위한 연구에 사용되었습니다. 
• BME는 적절하게 보충된다면 다양한 세포주에 사용할 수 있습니다.

• Preparation Method : Suspend 42.5 g of the medium in one liter of distilled or deionized water. Mix well and heat with frequent agitation. Boil for one minute. Dispense and sterilize in an autoclave at 121 °C (15 lbs. psi) for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50 °C and add 5-10% sterile defibrinated sheep or rabbit blood if desired.

DMEM, Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium (#091233454)

RPMI 1640 Medium (#091629754) 

• RPMI 1640 Medium은 Roswell Park Memorial Institute(RPMI)의 Moore 팀에서 개발되었고, bicarbonate buffering system과 아미노산 및 비타민 양의 변경을 활용한 RPMI 1630 media를 기반으로 합니다.
• RPMI는 원래 serum supplement로 사용되도록 고안되었으나 RPMI 1640은 serum이 부족한 상태에서 여러 세포를 support 하는 것으로 확인되었습니다. 
• 또한 hybrid cell의 성장과 fusion protocol에 널리 사용됩니다.
