특징 

• Human iPSC-derived neural stem cell은 알츠하이머 환자로부터 fibroblast 혹은 PBMC를 채취하여 episomal vector 방법을 통해 iPSC로 리프로그래밍 후 chemically defined cortical neural induction을 이용하여 neural stem cell(NSC)로 분화시켜 만든 신경 줄기 세포 입니다. 
  
• ApoE 혹은 Presenilin 1 유전자 형을 갖도록 엔지니어링되었습니다. 
  
• 배양 21일차 정도에 spontaneous synaptic activity가 감지되며, 35일차에 synchronized burst firing이 발생합니다.
  
• Astrocyte와 함께 co-culture를 함으로써 LTP(long-term potentiation)이나 LTD(long-term depression)을 유도할 수 있습니다.
