특징 

 

• Caspase는 세포골격, 세포접합부, 미토콘드리아, 소포체, 골지체, 핵을 포함한 대부분의 세포 구조에서 apoptosis가 일어날때 1차 effector로 역할을 하는 cysteine protease 패밀리 입니다. 
• Caspase는 모든 세포에서 inactive precursor로 존재하며, 다른 caspase에 의한 절단을 통해 활성화되어 단백질분해 cascade를 형성합니다.
