특징 

• Annexin V를 사용하여 초기 세포 사멸을 식별하고, PI를 사용하여 세포막 손상(괴사 또는 후기 사멸)을 동시에 확인하여 세포 사멸의 단계를 정확하게 분석하기 위해 사용됩니다.
• Annexin V는 칼슘 의존적 인지질 결합 단백질로, 초기 세포사멸 시기에 세포 표면에 노출되는 포스파티딜세린(Phosphatidylserine, PS)에 결합됩니다.
• 최적화된 결합 완충액(Binding Buffer)과 Propidium Iodide (PI)와 함께 제공됩니다.
• Propidium Iodide (PI)는 고정되지 않은 샘플에 사용되어 세포막 손상된 세포를 측정합니다. 
• 이 제품을 통해 세포사멸 (apoptotic) 세포와 괴사 (necrotic)/혹은 late stage의 세포사멸 단계를 구별할 수 있습니다.

초기 세포 사멸 세포 (Early Apoptotic cells)는 Annexin V-FITC에만 양성반응을 보이고, 후기 세포 사멸 및/또는 괴사 세포 (Late Apoptotic and/or Necrotic cells)는 Annexin V-FITC와 PI 모두에 양성을 보이고, 생존세포는 염색되지 않습니다.

Thymocytes were left untrated (left) or treated with 100 nM Dexamethasone for 15.5 hours (right) and then stained using Annexin V-FITC and propidium iodide provided in the TACS Annexin V-FITC Apoptosis Detection Kit (Catalog # 4830-250-K). The combination of Annexin V-FITC and propidium iodide allows for the distinction between early apoptotic cells (Annexin V-FITC positive), late apoptotic and/or necrotic cells (Annexin V-FITC and propidium iodide positive), and viable cells (unstained).
