특징

중추신경계의 브레이크 역할을 하는 interneuron은 뇌의 뉴런사이를 미세하게 조정하고 활성화된 전기적인 활동을 약화시킵니다. 감각지각, 감정 및 인지등의 기능과 관련된 위치인 neocortex에서 뉴런의 20-30%가 interneuron 입니다.
axoCells cortical inhibitory interneuron progenitor는 human iPSC에서 유도되어 Nkx-2.1 단백질을 발현하고 mature parvalbumin과 somatostatin interneuron 발달을 보이고, 배양 20일 후 성숙한 interneuron이 됩니다.
Parvalbumin, somatostatin, tyrosine hydroxylase, PAX-6, MAP2, beta-tubulin 및 GABA 수용체와 GAD 효소를 포함한 주요 마커를 발현합니다.
30일째에 Axol NeurOne 시스템 하에서 glutamic acid 및 glycine 자극에 대한 기능적 칼슘 이미징 반응을 나타냅니다.
