특징 

 

  • 세포 외 기질(ECM, Extracellualr matrix)은 세포가 존재할 수 있는 물리적인 미세환경을 제공합니다. 세포가 고정할 수 있는 기질을 제공하고, 조직의 스캐폴드에 주요한 역할을 하고, 배아의 발달과 상처 복구 과정 중의 세포 이동을 안내하고, 조직의 형태를 형성하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다. 세포 외 기질은 궁극적으로 세포 증식, 분화 및 사멸에 영향을 미치는 환경 신호를 세포에 전달하는 역할도 합니다.
  • ECM은 proteoglycan (세포 완충 역할), 불용성 collagen 섬유 (강도와 탄력 제공), 용해성 다중 접착 ECM 단백질 (fibronectin, laminin / proteoglycan과 collagen 섬유를 세포 표면 수용체에 결합)으로 구성됩니다.  
  • 세포 접착 분자(Cell adhesion molecules, CAMs)는 세포-세포와 세포-ECM 결합에 관여합니다. CAM은 integrain, cadherin, selectin, immunoglobulin superfamily로 구분됩니다. CAM은 세포 증식, 분화, 운동성, 수송, 세포사멸 및 조직 구조에 역할을 합니다.
