특징

  

  • Protease는 단백질 분해를 수행하는 효소로, 펩타이드 결합을 절단하여 작은 단편으로 절단하는 메커니즘입니다.
  • Protease는 많은 신호 전달 경로에서 중요한 역할을 하므로 Protease 활성부위를 표적화 할때 selectivity를 달성하기 어려울 수 있습니다. 
  • HIV-1 Protease는 바이러스 복제 과정에 필수적이며, MMP-9은 혈관신생에 역할을 하며 암의 표적이 됩니다.
