특징

• GloMelt는 Protein unfolding 확인 및 thermal stability 측정 ("Protein Thermal Shift") 등에 이용하는 형광 시약입니다.
• 단백질이 denaturation되면 hydrophobic region에 형광 물질이 binding되어 형광을 내거나 Tm (melting temperature)이 변화하므로 단백질의 unfolding 여부를 확인할 수 있습니다.
• mutation이 단백질 안정에 미치는 영향, 단백질과 ligand의 결합 상태, 단백질 안정에 효과적인 buffer formulation(pH, salt, detergent, additives...)등과 같은 Protein Thermal Stability 조건을 스크리닝 하는데 효과적입니다.
