특징

 

  • 미오이노시톨(Myo-inositol)은 당 알코올이며 세포막(plasma membrane)의 중요한 구성 요소로 알려져 있습니다. 이것은 인슐린 신호 전달, 갑상선 호르몬 합성, 지질 대사 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에 관여하는 이차 신호 전달자(secondary messenger) 역할을 합니다. 미오이노시톨 결핍은 인슐린 저항성 및 대사 기능 장애와 관련이 있습니다. 또한 특정 암세포에서 항암 특성을 나타내기도 합니다.
