β-Hydroxybutyrate (Ketone Body) Assay Kit (#MET-5083)

케톤 (Ketone)은 간과 신장에서 지방산 산화로 생성되는 수용성 분자입니다.
β-Hydroxybutyrate는 혈청에서 가장 많이 발생하며 측정된 모든 Ketone Body의 약 75 %를 차지합니다.
높은 수준의 ketone bodies 는 케톤증이나 케톤 산증을 유발할 수 있습니다.
β-Hydroxybutyrate (Ketone Body) Assay Kit는 다양한 샘플에 존재하는 총 β-BH를 측정할 수 있습니다
NAD +가 NADH로 환원되는 효소 순환 반응에 기초합니다.
96well 로 colorimetric 와 fluorometric 방법으로 각각 제공됩니다.
Detection sensitivity limit : 약 31 uM (colorimetric) or 2 uM (fluorometric)
serum, plasma, lysates, urine, cell lysates, tissue homogenates 샘플로 분석 가능합니다.

Lactate Assay Kits (#MET-5012, MET-5013)

Biological sample내 존재하는 L-lactate를 측정합니다.
Lactate는 lactate oxidase에 의해 산화되어 pyruvate와 hydrogen peroxide를 생성하고, hydrogen peroxide는 컬러나 형광법으로 측정됩니다.
Lactate standard curve 대비 unknown sample의 lactate양을 측정합니다.

Lactose Assay Kit (#MET-5001)

Milk를 포함한 식품 및 biological sample내 존재하는 lactose를 측정합니다.
lactose는 lactase에 의해 glucose와 galactose로 분해되며 glucose는 glucose oxidase에 의해 산화되어 hydrogen oxide와 D-gluconic acid를 방출합니다.
이 과정에서 유리된 hydrogen peroxide를 측정함으로써 lactose의 양을 측정합니다.

Starch Assay Kits (#MET-5025, MET-5026)

Food sample에 존재하는 starch를 측정하기 위한 kit 입니다.
Starch는 amyloglucosidase에 의해 glucose monomer로 분해되며, glucose는 glucose oxidase에 의해 산화되어 D-gluconic acid와 hydrogen peroxide를 생성합니다.
이 hydrogen peroxidase는 kit에서 제공하는 probe와 반응하여 컬러 및 형광법으로 측정됩니다.
