1. PreadyTake MATE1

  • MATE1 transporter를 발현하는 HEK293 cell이 pre-plate 되어있습니다.
  • 양이온성 화합물에 대한 간 및 신장 barrier의 net active transport를 평가하는데에 이용됩니다.

The membrane-associated MATE-1 transporter is mainly expressed in the canalicular membrane of hepatocytes, and in the apical membrane of the renal proximal tubule cells where it mediates cell internalization of endogenous and exogenous organic cations and zwitterions for renal and biliary excretion. Also at high proportion, MATE1 is expressed in skeletal muscle and at lower levels in the adrenal gland, testes and heart.

The membrane-associated OCT2 transporter is mainly expressed in the renal tubular epithelial cells where it mediates cell internalization of positively charged drugs for their ulterior excretion through urine. Though in a lower proportion, OCT2 is also expressed in the brain, lungs, small intestine, thymus, placenta and inner ear.

The membrane-associated OATP1B3 transporter is expressed in the sinusoidal membrane of hepatocytes, where it mediates the hepatic elimination of compounds.
