특징 

 

  • 항생제(antibiotics)는 박테리아를 죽이거나 박테리아의 성장을 억제하여 박테리아 감염을 예방하고 치료하는 화합물입니다. 
  • 세포를 배양할 때 Mycoplasma에 의한 오염을 방지하기 위해 사용하기도 합니다. 
  • 항생제는 화학적으로 합성되거나 곰팡이 같은 천연 공급원으로부터 분리하여 얻을 수 있습니다.
