    특징
  • Far-red (원적외선) 형광 dye는 백그라운드가 최소화되어 ultra sensitive detection에 많이 사용됩니다. Cy5가 가장 많이 사용되어 왔으나, 최근에는 AlexaFluor 647이 더 밝고 안정한 형광 dye로 각광받아오고 있습니다.
  • 하지만 AlexaFluor 647은 photostability가 떨어지고, AlexaFluor 633은 photostability는 좋지만 signal이 약한 단점을 갖고 있습니다.
  • Biotium에서 개발된 CF633 dye는 이런 단점들을 극복한 제품으로, 633/635 nm lasers 사용시 가장 bright한 형광을 보여줍니다.
  • 형광이 오랫동안 지속됩니다. (high photostability)
  • confocal microscopy, flow cytometry 등으로 볼수 있습니다.
  • 물에 잘 녹습니다. (Highly water-soluble)
  • 여러가지 제품에 다양하게 응용될수 있습니다.
    1. 1) 항체에 conjugation하여 형광2차항체로 사용
    2. 2) Annexin V에 conjugation하여 apoptosis 확인에 사용
    3. 3) a-Bungarotoxin에 conjufation하여 neuromuscular junction연구에 사용
